The regulations of Lake Vouliagmeni have been established to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for our guests, support the safe and proper use of the company’s facilities, and protect the lake as well as the environment. To enhance your visit’s safety and enjoyment, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the following guidelines, forming an agreement between you, the guest, and Lake Vouliagmeni.

Admission, working hours, and facility usage at the lake are subject to the administration, which reserves the right to modify them. Lake Vouliagmeni operates as a Spa Tourism Center from Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30.

Working Hours: 

Lake Vouliagmeni welcomes visitors from early morning till dawn, year-round. 

Summer: The last ticket can be issued two hours before closing time.

Winter: The last ticket can be issued one and a half hours before closing time. 

Any changes to operating hours will be communicated at the reception desk, official website (www.lakevouliagmeni.gr), and official social media pages (Facebook & Instagram).

Tickets:

• Swimming in Lake Vouliagmeni is only permitted with a ticket, which can be purchased on-site or electronically from collaborating platforms and is valid for the day of issuance.
• The ticket expires 60 minutes after exiting the swimming area.
• It is strictly personal and non-transferable.
• Reduced tickets must be accompanied by the corresponding proof.
• The social ticket card is issued by a doctor with the necessary documentation.

Services – Facilities:

The capacity of the Lake is 300 people, subject to changes based on Government Guidelines. In case of full capacity, entry is denied for the safety of visitors.

Infirmary: 

Operating from Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30, the infirmary provides consulting and medical services, information on thermal water properties, issuance of hydrotherapy cards, and balneotherapy certificates for social security funds. Lake Vouliagmeni offers First Aid services during emergencies as defined by law. Guests are kindly requested to furnish necessary information to the attending physician and follow provided instructions.

For safety reasons, visitors must inform the physician of any chronic health problems or existing medical conditions. The physician reserves the right to prohibit lake swimming if it poses a risk to the visitor’s health or life.

Lifeguard: 

Lifeguards are on duty at the Lake during spa center operating hours, as mandated by law. The number of lifeguards is stipulated by regulations. Swimmers are required to adhere to the instructions, suggestions, and advice provided by the lifeguards. In exceptional cases, lifeguards may prohibit swimming if it poses a danger to the swimmer’s life.

The lake borders are clearly marked with floating buoys, and swimming outside these designated areas is strictly prohibited. Visitors experiencing health issues should notify the lifeguard before engaging in any activities in the Lake.

Security: 

The Administration is dedicated to providing high-quality services, but it cannot be held accountable for visitor behaviour. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children, and visitors are urged to retain their entry ticket throughout their stay.

Visitors are kindly requested to keep their entry ticket with them at all times and present it to Lake officials or competent authorities upon request.

Lockers for Safe Storage of Personal Belongings: 

Safety lockers near changing rooms are provided for valuables. The Management is not liable for loss or damage to guest belongings. For lost or found items, please contact the ticket office at (+30) 2108962237-9.

Parking: 

Visitors can park for free, and the Administration is not responsible for any accidents or damages to vehicles.

Cabins – Showers: 

Showers with cold and hot water are available, and the use of shampoo and soap is prohibited for environmental reasons.

Shopping Center: 

A retail store at Lake Vouliagmeni offers cosmetic, souvenir, and clothing items.

Environmental Sensitivity: 

Lake Vouliagmeni is part of the National NATURA 2000 list and a Site of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors are urged to respect the natural environment.

Prohibited Activities:

1. Collecting water from the lake without prior approval for water analysis.
2. Bringing pets into the premises.
3. Entering the water immediately after applying sunscreen; kindly rinse off sunscreen before swimming.
4. Consuming food and drinks not purchased from the on-site restaurant-cafeteria.
5. Venturing beyond the designated floating buoys while swimming.
6. Using private sun umbrellas, sunbeds, or chairs.
7. Engaging in camping activities.
8. Participating in ball games or similar activities.
9. Using private audio systems, excluding headsets.
10. Utilizing seats for purposes other than their designated use.
11. Applying shampoos or other chemical liquids at outdoor showers.
12. Causing harm to any vegetation or contributing to water pollution; environmental damage is subject to prosecution.
13. Intentionally damaging or destroying Lake equipment, machinery, or facilities; violators will face prosecution for property damage.
14. Using changing rooms for purposes other than those legally prescribed.
15. Remaining in the infirmary, except for medical staff, patients, and their escorts.
16. Staying in the lifeguard’s tower without obtaining special permission from the Administration.
17. Using watercraft within the premises.
18. Operating drones.
19. Remaining in the Lake beyond working hours.
20. Reserving seats and tables on the main deck; such use is not considered exclusive.
21. Engaging in nudism.
22. Walking barefoot.
23. Diving (please use the designated stairs for entering the water).

Administration Rights: 

The Administration reserves the right to refuse entry, remove intoxicated individuals, and take legal action if necessary. Visitors must use facilities with caution and adhere to all regulations.

Complaints and Comments: 

Visitors can address complaints or comments by contacting the Administrative Staff and filling in a special form.

By purchasing the entry ticket, visitors automatically accept the regulations. Lake Vouliagmeni is not responsible for accidents due to equipment misuse or non-compliance with the mentioned conditions.
